History

ITD specializes in food safety management products. We visualize a world with safe food being served in cafeterias and restaurants.

ITD was founded in 2005 by current President and CEO Jason Mobley. Having been Director of Operations for a restaurant franchise with six locations, he saw opportunities related to temperature taking and recording. In 2006, the USDA mandated a HACCP regulation for food safety including temperature taking, monitoring, establishing, and documenting corrective actions and recording. ITD entered the market successfully in October 2006 with our first food safety product, Temp-Taker.

ITD is now a multi-product business. Along with our patented, automated temperature recording and data logging device, Temp-Taker™, we now have the patent-pending Prep-Pal™, an automated food rotation and shelf life labeling manager. The Temp-Taker™ is a paperless system with a plug and play design for instant recording. It has user friendly, customizable software and comes preloaded with a USDA HACCP menu. The Temp-Taker is proven to be two-to-three times faster than the conventional methods. Using the Temp-Taker™ saves the customer on productivity and eliminates falsification found in using the paper-based methods of recording temperatures.
